Hi, It’s Rutil Misono. I was thinking I will buy new computer when I got new job,finally I bought new PC before I get job >.> Old one stack.
he never render mentalray.
So,I installed adobe and autodesk product to new PC, TEST rendering !

ah… It’s might be same as old PC does…
I’m an optimist , but It’s makes me impatient！
I bought new PC because of render, rookie also doesn’t work.

render mentalray in maya2016 needs
○Install　mentalray　for maya
○Install　the　newest　SP

In my situation,It’s too bother about check updates.
so I was using
○AutodeskApplication Manager
○Application Manager for graphic board
I had problem maya’s Smooth Mesh Preview has crashed because of graphic board ‘s drive update was not the newest.
so I have important updates.

There are so many render,arnold、renderman、VRay…so I don’t need to attachment mentalray,
But I learn mentalray at art school and I don’t like I can not resolve the problems regardless of whether render problem or other…

How to get Mental Ray for Autodesk Maya 2016

and finally, I found saomeone got same probrem.

I did reinstall things, but It doesn’t getting better,so I gave up yesterday night.
This morning,autodesk　application manager suggest me SP6 doesn’t update yet, this morning.
I spent few days to fix them… finally Finally! It’s resolved!
I make no mention about APP manager didn’t tell me anything until yesterday:P

I can barely think of new product!
